About ME
Years ago I set out with a dream of seeing the world. Broke and with a stubborn disposition, I decided to see how I could travel the world without needing a vault full of cash.
My main focus in travel is to find a mix between exploration, budget friendly experiences, digital nomadism and solo-travel.
Our objective
Solo-travel is the main focus of ThePenilessPilgrim, with the ideas and thoughts shared revolving around exploring the world around us as individuals. This includes the specific tool-sets required to enjoy it, the mindset and everything in-between.
Although the information is geared towards budget, solo-travel experiences, this doesn’t mean other travellers should be left out. All of the advice strewn across this site can apply to anyone who wants to travel, regardless of their means of doing so.
